This policy explains what information Joe's Washer & Dryer Rental ("we," "us") collects from rental customers, how we use it, and your choices.
When you rent a washer and dryer from us, we collect your name, delivery address, mobile phone number, email address (if provided), and payment records. If you use our online text message sign-up form, we also record your name, mobile number, the consent wording you agreed to, and the date and time of your submission, as proof of your consent. If you text our questions line, we also collect your mobile number and the content of the messages you send us and our replies. Card payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number.
We use your information only to operate your rental: to deliver and service equipment, send payment reminders and receipts, process payments, and contact you about your account.
If you consent, we send text messages about your rental account, such as billing reminders, secure payment links, notice of a failed payment, payment confirmations, and delivery or service appointment confirmations. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. You give consent by providing your mobile number and any one of the following: signing the SMS consent line on our rental possession receipt at delivery, checking the consent box on our online text message sign-up form, or tapping the opt-in button on a personal text-reminder link we send to the mobile number on your account. Consent to texts is not a condition of renting.
You can also text our questions line, (726) 333-0112. If you text us first, we reply to your message about your question, such as rental pricing, delivery areas, availability, and scheduling a delivery or install appointment. Replies may be sent by an automated assistant, and a person may take over the conversation at any time. We keep the messages you send and our replies so we can follow up and keep a record of your request. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this line.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (for example, our payment processor, our text messaging provider, and tools that help us route and draft replies to your questions), and only as needed to provide their service, or when required by law.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for your rental, our records, and legal obligations.
You may request to review, correct, or delete your information, or opt out of texts, by contacting us below. Opting out of texts does not end your rental agreement.
